Callaway Diablo Edge Irons Hybrid Combo Set

Amazon.com may not be at the top of your list when you think about buying golf clubs, but I urge you to take a closer look.  I was recently thinking about buying some new clubs (hope springs eternal!) and I check Amazon.  I have mentioned here before that I have learned that careful and extensive research frequently leads me back to Amazon to buy products I am looking for.  The set of clubs that is depicted here, for example, typically sells for at least $100 more in sporting goods stores and pro shops.  Of course, it is a premium set of clubs!  Amazon describes it as:

Receiving a gold medal from Golf Digest’s 2010 Hot List for Super Game Improvement Irons, this 8-club set of Callaway Diablo Edge irons provide increased distance without compromising feel or performance. The lower, deeper center of gravity (CG) makes the sweet spot more accessible and is in line with where amateurs most commonly hit the ball on the clubface, generating longer, consistent distance and improved accuracy. And Callaway’s core technologies like VFT, S2H2, Modified Tru-Bore, and a 360-Degree Undercut Channel work together to maximize distance, feel and playability.

The 8-club set features graphite shafts and includes the following clubs:  3 hybrid, 4 hybrid, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and pitching wedge, and is available in either left- or right-handed models.  Best of all, you can get customized shafts just for senior citizens!

Amazon has an enormous inventory of other clubs and golf equipment, as well.  I suggest that you click through using the link above to see what they have to offer.  I think you will be happy!

Seniors blogging

“Granny blog” is Internet slang for a blog by or about senior citizens.  If you aren’t quite sure what a “blog” is, here is a hint:  You are reading one right now.  Yes, indeed, this collection of product and site reviews is technically a blog.

I have been blogging for a couple of years now because I love to write and I love to get paid for doing something I enjoy.  It is easier than it may seem and literally requires no monetary investment.  In this post I want to recommend a small, free e-book that tells you how to get started blogging and making money while doing it.  It is called the Income Blogging Guide Blueprint.  There is no obligation for requesting the book and I think you will enjoy reading it.  If you decide it’s not for you, you don’t lose a thing!  Here is a brief outline of the contents of the e-book.

  • The 5 quickest and easiest ways to start making a blog income…including the step-by-step approach.
  • Discover the 3 golden rules of keyword analysis… get one rule wrong and ALL your future efforts are wasted.
  • Step-by-step guides and images of each ‘must-have’ plugin you must install on your blog (plus all the tweaks necessary – it is not just a matter of installing)
  • Step-by-step guides and images of each ‘must-have’ plugin you must install on your new blog (plus all the tweaks necessary – it is not just a matter of installing)
  • How to add pages, posts and images the right way, to pick up Google “link-juice” and without being penalised for duplicate content.

If you don’t understand all of the jargon in these themes, don’t worry, they will be completely explained and you will learn some very interesting things about Internet marketing.  Just click on this link and request the free e-book.  It will come to you almost instantly via download and you can read it at your convenience.  You can read it on your computer monitor or print it out.  Let me know what you think about it!

Web Site Review–Internet Shopping–Amazon.com

June 17, 2010 Senior Games

Amazon.com is such a fixture on the Internet that it may seem odd to experienced Internet shoppers to review it 16 years after its founding.  However, I am aware that many senior citizens have never shopped on the Internet and may appreciate this testimonial from a person who buys and sells on the ‘net almost [...]
